Oh divided man that I am

James 2: 10-11 "For whoever keeps the whole law but fails at in one point has become accountable for all of it. For he who said, "Do not commit adultery," also said, "Do not murder." If you do not commit adultery but do murder, you have become a transgressor of the law. "

What is the point of the law? Is it for us to be justified? I hope not, cause if it is, game over. God's got perfect standards represented by the law, and if we even break the slightest part of it, no dice. So the Royal law is not fulfilled in perfect obedience, but in love. One who loves Jesus will aim and fall short to complete God's holy demands. And this same one will also treat those around (him) as he should not. But their is proof of life now. There still is badness inside, which is no surprise. The surprise that there is now goodness. Loving others since Jesus first loved us.

God, prevent me with EVERY means necessary from trying to fulfill your perfect demands in anything other than your Son. I have a fatal attraction to trying to earn things, including grace, which is not hiring. Thank you that I don't have to earn this. I love you.
