My car was stolen this morning or last night, and here is the post my roommate left on my Facebook wall:
"she was the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy. she made point five past lightspeed and even one time, the kessel run in less than four parsecs. she had a lot of carbon scoring, but then again, she had seen a lot of action, how much? several battles, i think, but i'm not much good at tellin' stories. it's funny to think of it now but ben actually won her from a good friend during a game of cards. he used her compartments for smuggling many times, but he never thought he'd be smuggling HIMSELF in her. when she faced asteroid fields, she went INTO them, not away from them. she could outrun even imperial ships, not the bulk cruisers, i'm talking about the big coreillian ones. ben loved her. one time, ben reluctantly let his friend luke borrow her to run a quick errand, luke assured ben that he wouldn't allow any harm to come to her, "not a scratch." sure, she had her setbacks, she didn't even look like much, but she had it where it counts. she blasted through hyperspace without the typical rookie mindset of "dusting crops". of course, ben has been falsely accused of dropping shipments at the first sign of imperials, but hey, even he got boarded sometimes. ben has often been heard proclaiming proudly that she even had "a few modifications" that he had made himself. other times, he would gently beg her to "stay together" or "hold together". last night, before heading to sleep, he looked out his window at her, as his roomate dave "the comish" mishler came up and said, "hey, you alright?" ben replied, "yeah, i just got a funny feeling. like i'm never gonna see her again.""
