According to 1st John 1:5-10, we have fellowship with both God and with people, and these two are interconnected. Worth considering that finite relationships between messed up people can influence a relationship between the messed up person and The All Powerful God.
It is like Soldiers in a trench, sometimes, they don't need to be thinking through the whole attack plan at once. They just need to make one foot step in front of the next so they aren't destroyed by a moments carelessness. They need each other to call out the other's blind spots and spotting shrapnel hazards.
Team- as an intividuals summed strengths are never going to match the cooperative strengths of the same group. The Church is said to be a body of Christ- and this makes sense that the parts work better together once they start working together.
Sharing summarizes the essence of fellowship.
According to John Frame, "So we can understand fellowship as worship, sharing goods, and that intimacy with one another in the Spirit that nurtures and edifies. In terms of our threefold pattern, we can think of worship as normative, sharing as situational, and nurture as existential."
